PGA TOUR PRO BEN CRANE

Ben Crane is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour. He is known as one of the best putters (if not the best) on the tour, and an incredibly nice guy besides. Since he is playing for his livelihood, nothing makes him cranky faster than not feeling 100% when he is on the course. If he is not in control of his game, the paychecks start to look pretty slim. Unlike many other professional athletes, golfers have no guaranteed income, so Ben and most of his fellow PGA pros take nutritional supplements daily for that added advantage.

Ben was plagued by back issues in the past, to the point that he wondered if he could effectively play much longer at the pro level. In 2007, back problems forced him to take a tour medical exemption. Late that year he met with Dr. Mark Stengler. Following his advice and treatment plan, Ben is now back in playing condition. In fact, he finished 2008 at 64th on the money list with almost $1,500,000, while ranking 90th in career earnings.

Ben believes strongly in several things. He believes in Dr. Stengler and the Play Away brand, and believes in it enough to actually own a piece of the company. He also believes that it can’t hurt to practice your putting as much as your long game, and you’ll score better if you do. That isn’t glamorous and neither is taking supplements.
